Mallory Dwinal-Palisch has dedicated her career to innovative educational models. She began as a Spanish teacher with Teach for America and, later, co-founded and led the Oxford Day Academy (ODA), a public charter school in East Palo Alto. ODA has adapted and codified the Oxford tutorial pedagogy for K12 students from all learning backgrounds. From there, she co-founded the Oxford Teachers Academy (OTA), a Bachelor's Degree program that scales the learnings of ODA by training the next generation of classroom teachers-- particularly from remote rural areas-- in ODA's modified tutorial pedagogy. OTA is now Oxford Teachers Ccllege at Reach University, and has expanded to develop the next generation of teachers in urban and rural communities alike. Mallory graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics, Spanish, and International Studies; additionally, she holds a Ph.D. in Education from Oxford University (dissertation focus: rural teacher shortages), which she attended as a U.S. Rhodes Scholar, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
